Walk On Water Event

The City of Henderson is pleased to welcome members of the Nevada League of Cities to a Water Street Walk & Mixer on Monday, October 27. Over the past several years, the City has worked diligently to position Water Street as a vibrant point of convergence—where history and progress meet, where long-standing businesses thrive alongside fresh and dynamic newcomers, and where every block tells a story.

This guided walking tour, paired with an engaging networking mixer, will offer League members the opportunity to hear directly from City leaders and local entrepreneurs about the transformative redevelopment initiatives shaping the district. Guests will enjoy curated food and beverage tastings—featuring wine, beer, and mocktails—from some of Water Street’s most celebrated establishments, while immersing themselves in the energy, culture, and community that define the Water Street District.

• Redevelopment and revitalization of the Water Street District – the 30-year overnight success 
• Setting the table for future investment 
• The importance of visioning and community feedback/buy-in  
• Placemaking to drive business and developer interest
• Premiere customer service, streamlined entitlements, concierge service to the development community
