Kelly McNeil became the Executive Director of the Nevada League of Cities and Municipalities in June 2024. In this role, Kelly oversees the League’s day-to-day operations, including advocacy efforts, member engagement, and program development. She works closely with the Board of Directors to implement the League’s mission and strategic goals, ensuring Nevada’s municipalities are well-supported.
Kelly brings over 15 years of leadership experience in nonprofit management, strategic planning, and organizational development. Prior to joining the League, she served as Executive Director of the Nevada Optometric Association, where she increased membership by 13.5% and grew sponsorship revenue by 33%.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Iowa and a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Grand Canyon University. Her expertise includes budget management, staff development, and creating operational efficiencies to drive growth. Known for her ability to anticipate trends and identify new opportunities, Kelly is dedicated to strengthening Nevada’s municipalities through proactive advocacy and collaboration.
With her extensive experience in nonprofit leadership and ability to create lasting organizational improvements, Kelly is a valuable asset to the League. Under her leadership, the League focuses on delivering critical resources and support to municipalities across the state.
